He completed his surgical residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. He then completed a fellowship in surgical breast oncology at the UAMS - The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Burdge is board certified in general surgery.
