About
Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon Charles Geller, M.D., FACS, FACC, FCCP, is a highly-experienced surgeon, having completed over 5,000 open heart surgery cases over the course of his career. Prior to joining Commonwealth Health, Dr. Geller practiced in Manhattan at Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where he was the director of the cardiothoracic surgery intensive care unit.
His areas of interest include minimally invasive cardiac surgery, mitral valve repair and replacement, on and off pump coronary bypass surgery with multi arterial revascularization, the Ross procedure to treat severe aortic valve disease and the maze procedure to treat atrial fibrillation.
