About
Michael Rittenberg, M.D., is a native of the Wyoming Valley and has been in practice since 1987. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After graduating from Wyoming Valley West in 1973, Dr. Rittenberg received a BA with honors from Wesleyan University in 1977. He earned his MD from Jefferson Medical College in 1981, and completed a residency in urology at Thomas Jefferson University in 1987. He is the author of numerous articles in the urologic literature and serves as a preceptor for numerous urologic companies, teaching novel procedures to other urologists and staff. He has become recognized for his knowledge and experience in minimally invasive surgery, including endourology and robotics.
