About
Adil Sattar, M.D., FACC, RPVI, completed a residency in internal medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He completed his fellowship training in structural heart disease at NYU School of Medicine in New York, NY.
Dr. Sattar is the medical director of the structural heart program at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with advanced training in catheter-based treatments of valvular heart diseases. He is experienced in a range of cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catherization, peripheral arterial disease, endovascular treatment of blockages in the lower extremities, angioplasty and stenting, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He has special interests in general and interventional cardiology and is committed to personalized, compassionate care and consultation.
Dr. Sattar brings his experience to Commonwealth Health's Heart & Vascular Institute at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and has practiced at healthcare systems located in West Virginia and New York.
