Akhila Yarramneni, M.D., earned her medical degree at Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India and completed a residency in surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. She completed fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY.
Her areas of focus include all aspects of cardiac surgery, structural heart procedures, thoracic aneurysm repair, valve repair and replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, and the maze procedure to treat atrial fibrillation.
