Dr. FitzPatrick serves as the director of the Commonwealth Health Heart & Vascular Institute. He is the former chairman of medicine as well as the former president of the medical staff at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Dr. FitzPatrick received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. FitzPatrick also completed a fellowship in cardiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiology and nuclear cardiology.
